I know I’m years late to the party and I really shouldn’t like these hipstery things, but the men featured in this “new gentleman’s quarterly” are ridiculously appealing.
Just finished Jonathan Franzen’s Freedom. Not quite sure what to say about it. It was epic, but made me super melancholy, because it really pointed out the pathetic nature of humanity. I’m not clear on what the controversy was over the book (just his male fame?) but I did enjoy this article to lighten the spirit— Why I Stole Jonathan Franzen’s Glasses.
